Where to stay in Jūrmala: 7 places compared with prices
In Jūrmala you can sleep in a five-star hotel on the beach, a timber villa in Majori, a tent in the trees or a cabin by the river. Here are the prices a night for two in winter and summer, and each place's pros and cons.

Saulriets and Lavanda, Priedaine
Two tiny houses on the bank of the Lielupe, each with its own deck with a grill, a kitchen and a bathroom. Room for four, dogs welcome, the water-ski park with SUP boards and kayaks next door.
Priedaine is the Jūrmala district on the Riga side, outside the toll zone: parking at the house is free, and no pass is needed. The station is a 15-minute walk, the train from Riga takes 22 minutes.

Jurmala Spa Hotel, Majori
A resort hotel at the end of Jomas iela with an indoor pool, a spa centre and a restaurant. The beach is five minutes away, Majori station ten.
It is the centre of Jūrmala with everything that comes with it: the crowds on Jomas iela, concerts in Dzintari, and in summer a night costs a third more than in winter.

Lielupe by Semarah Hotels, Lielupe
A four-star hotel on Bulduru prospekts between the pine forest and the sea, with a 25-metre pool, saunas and a spa zone. The beach is a 10-minute walk.
Lielupe is quieter than Majori, but Jomas iela is three kilometres further. From our houses it is across the river, 3.6 km by road.

A five-star hotel right on Majori beach with its own beach zone, an indoor pool and a spa. The most expensive place on this list.
Summer 2027 prices are not on sale yet; in the winter months a night for two starts at about EUR 140, and on a November weekend it cost almost as much as three nights in our house.

Pegasa Pils Spa Hotel, Majori
A hotel in a historic timber villa on Jūras iela, 500 metres from Jomas iela, with two pools, a spa and a restaurant on the ground floor.
In winter it is one of the cheapest spa hotels in Majori; in summer a night costs almost three times as much.

Sunset Hotel, Majori
A small hotel in a timber villa on Pilsoņu iela, a quiet street a few minutes from Jomas iela. Parking on the grounds is free, breakfast is not included.
In winter it is the cheapest hotel on this list. The hotel's own calendar has one base rate for all of 2027, EUR 110 a night; Booking.com offers less in November.

Feeling cone, Priedaine
Tents in the trees and bungalows at the Seko saulei leisure complex on the bank of the Lielupe, 500 metres from our houses. There is a cafe and a grill on site, SUP boards and kayaks by the water.
Open in season from May to September. Like our houses, it is in Priedaine, outside the toll zone.

Questions people ask
How much is a night in Jūrmala?
In November from EUR 46 in a small hotel in Majori to EUR 305 in a five-star hotel on the beach; in July the spa hotels charge EUR 190 to 290 a night for two (Booking.com, October 2026). Our houses in Priedaine cost EUR 95 to 105 all year.
Where to stay in Jūrmala without a car?
In Majori everything is within walking distance of the station. In Priedaine the houses are a 15-minute walk from the station, and the train from Riga takes 22 minutes.
Do hotel guests pay the Jūrmala entry fee?
Yes, if you drive into the toll zone; the hotel does not waive it. Priedaine is outside the zone, so at our houses and at Feeling cone no pass is needed.
What is the cheapest place to stay in Jūrmala?
In winter the small hotels in Majori, for example Sunset Hotel from EUR 46 a night. In summer a tent in the trees in Priedaine from EUR 56, then the cabins by the river at EUR 95 to 105.
