An evening for two on the Lielupe
Towards evening the park closes and the river is yours. On the deck under the string lights there is a table and two chairs, a grill beside it, and a hammock hangs in the birches between the houses. The sun sets over the river, then come the stars.
The house has one room with a big window, a private bathroom with a shower and a double bed. Nothing extra: no TV, no corridors, no neighbours behind the wall.
In the morning, coffee on the deck with a view of the meadow and the river. If you like, a SUP board for two is right there on the bank.
Two houses, two characters
Saulriets is the black house with a hammock between the birches, a hanging chair on the deck and the big window facing the meadow. You sleep on a double mattress by the timber wall.
Lavanda is the grey one with a sleeping loft: the bed under the timber ceiling, up a ladder. It has air conditioning for hot nights and sun loungers on the deck.
Both cost the same. If you want the bed up high and cool air, Lavanda; if you want the hammock and the evening sun, Saulriets.

Valentine's Day, an anniversary, a proposal
On holiday dates a night costs EUR 100, on Friday and Saturday EUR 105, on other days EUR 95. In February the house is warm: Saulriets has a heater, Lavanda a heater and an air conditioner with a heating mode.
On a winter evening the river is quiet and white, the deck is for hot tea in a blanket, and the stars are as clear as in summer. Cook dinner in the house's kitchen or bring it from Riga.
Flowers, a cake or something else waiting on arrival can be left in the house if you arrange it with the host in the Airbnb chat.

Is the house only for two?
The house sleeps four, but for two it is at its best: a double bed and a deck for two. The other house stands next door and may have other guests.
Is there a sauna, a hot tub or a spa?
No. The neighbours Seko saulei rent a floating hot tub 500 metres away, and the spas are in the Jūrmala hotels across the river.
Can I arrange a surprise?
For flowers or a cake in the house on arrival, agree it with the host in the Airbnb chat; she replies within an hour.
What does it cost on Valentine's Day?
The holiday-date price is EUR 100 a night; at weekends EUR 105. The Airbnb calendar shows the exact price and the free dates.
Is it quiet?
In the evening and at night, yes. On summer days the water-ski park next door is open, so for an especially calm stay pick weekdays or autumn.
